NFL‘s Super Bowl 57 will be played on Feb. 12, 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona between Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. The headliner performer for Super Bowl 2023 halftime show was Rihanna.
Halftime shows at the Super Bowl typically lasts between 20 to 30 minutes because of the musical performance, which is considerably longer than normal halftime break. Rihanna’s show itself was a 13-minute collection of her biggest hits, some of which she performed from a floating platform.
If you’re a big rock fan, you might of noticed that playing in Rihanna’s band at the Super Bowl show was guitar virtuoso Nuno Bettencourt of the band Extreme. They have collaborated in the past but this marks the first time Nuno has played together with Rihanna in almost a decade. Rihanna’s band can first be seen at around the nine-minute mark in the performance video, with Bettencourt emerging armed with a red-finished version of his signature Washburn N4 guitar.
