NASCAR Logo History

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) is the largest stock car racing sanctioning body in the U.S. The association was founded by Bill France Sr. in 1948, and his son, Jim France, has been the CEO since August 2018. The three largest racing series sanctioned by NASCAR are the Cup Series, the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series.

In the current Cup Series, three car models used as nameplates in the series are the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Toyota Camry.
