The NY Yankees logo is the most recognizable MLB team logo. It symbolizes unity and excellence, representing the name, sport, and national commitment. The cap with the club emblem has become a fashion brand not only in US but all over the world. The team started as Baltimore Orioles in 1901. By 1903, the franchise moved to New York and changed the name to Highlanders. It wasn’t until 1913 that the team got its modern name of New York Yankees. In 1947, American sports artist Henry Alonzo Keller created the top-hat logo concept for the Yankees. A modern version of it was updated in 1968. The franchise has utilized this iconic logo ever since.
