St. Louis Cardinals is one of the oldest baseball clubs in the MLB. It was founded in 1882 based as Brown Stockings. In 1990, it registered the team name known today as the St. Louis Cardinals. The current team logo has the cardinal grabbing hold of the baseball bat while the C hangs off of the top of the bat.
