The Patriot League is a NCAA athletic conference comprising private institutions of higher education and two United States service academies based in the Northeastern US. Not all conference colleges participate in every sport. Army and Navy play in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. Army is an independent, while Navy competes as an associate member of the American Athletic Conference.
