The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic conference located in the eastern U.S. The ACC was founded on May 8, 1953, by seven universities located in the South Atlantic States. Today, it’s headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina and the teams play in NCAA‘s Division I sports.
