New Jersey Devils Logo History

NHL TEAMS:

New Jersey Devils joined the NHL as the Kansas City Scouts in 1974. After just 2 seasons, the team moved to Denver in 1976 and became the Colorado Rockies. In 1982, the team again moved and this time to New Jersey and got another nickname, the Devils. The Devils logo combines the letter “N” with the devil tail at the bottom and the letter “J” with devil horns at the top.
